The First Annual Jaseng Academy (AJA) International conference was held on 3-5 March 2018 at The InterContinental Grand Seoul Parnas, Seoul, South Korea under the theme of:
Present and Future Implications of Nonsurgical Spine and Joint Treatment
Chuna Manual Therapy, the main component of Korean medicine treatment for spinal disorders, was included in Korean national health insurance coverage as of April 2019, and we took this opportunity to discuss the prospects and implications of Chuna health insurance coverage with various international experts in manual medicine, to review the body of evidence supporting the safety and effectiveness of Korean medicine, and to suggest future directions for research of musculoskeletal disorders in complementary and alternative medicine.
